Good News/ Artwork Update!

Hello again! I have some exciting news! Well exciting for me at least. Yesterday the film for my 

sx-70 land camera came in the mail. Awesome right!? After a few wasted polariods I'm finally getting the hang of it. C'mon don't roll your eyes (yes I can see what you're doing right now). As soon as I can scrounge up enough change to grab a polariod-safe scanner for my computer I'll post  my first few photos! Anywho, Here's a couple more painting-doodles of some animals smoking that are so fitting-ly entitled "Rat with a Guitar" and "Horse". Ok so they're not the most creative names, and I realize this is a blog dedicated to my "creative side" but back off. I challenge you to come up with better names for these! Leave your names in the comment box below. I doubt anyone will participate, so consider that another challenge!

Hello Out There: My First Post!

Hello out there! My name's Kyle and I'm new to the blogging community. I've created this blog as an effort to share some of my creative side. I'm an avid guitar player/musician and am constantly writing new jingles, taking inspiration from life's small victories. Within the last couple of months I've taken up painting as a hobby, however I would describe my works as more of "doodles with colour" rather than art. I also just recently got my hands on a polariod sx-70 land camera and as soon as I stumble upon some film will likely be taking uncomfortable photos of whatever poor stranger I cross paths with. In conclusion; as a reader of my new, and quite promising blog you can expect some artsy photos, lots of annoying singing, and a handful of crappy paintings. Mix in a weeks worth of bad jokes, countless complaining, and enough bad grammar/punctuation to send your fifth grade english teacher running back home to the company of her 11 cats and you've got a taste of what I can only imagine my blog will be like. Well that really took a turn for the worst. I know it sounds awful, but don't fret! We'll get through this together, even if it is a whole lot of lame.
